AMA National Competition Success for the Talented Takimura Trio!

Congratulations to Charlotte Crouch, Sam Bird and Jon Pace on their recent competition success at the AMA National Karate Championships on 21st June 2009 in Sheffield.

Charlotte Crouch - Gold!

For young Charlotte this was her first ever competition and she performed brilliantly taking the gold medal in Kumite. Well done Charlotte we are all very proud of your success and know that you are a potential karate star in the making - stick with it!

Jon Pace despite flexing his muscles had to settle with silver, narrowly missing out on the gold medal, after a clutch of scintillating fights. Jon’s natural prowess, athletic ability and good form were on full display and so we are confident that it will only be a matter of time before he’s standing on that podium in pole position again!

Sam valiantly fought his way to a bronze medal position and gave us the 1– 2-3 medal scoop for the day. Sam is returning to his former fighting glory with every competition and we are all very eager to see just exactly how far the ‘Bird’ can fly!
